Many of you work in fields that are still primarily run by old world consciousness.  Sometimes you can be a light in the darkness and it is received and honored and sometimes the old world people can take umbrage with that and you can come under attack.  One of the hallmarks of the old world is the polarized belief in right and wrong.  If you are right, then to them, they must be wrong and they can’t live with that, so they make you wrong.  In truth everything has its place and sometimes we have to give way to the old world energies and accept that for a time they will be in charge of many things in the material world.  The new world is increasing daily, you can feel that within and trust it, even while you live with the old.

Here are a few suggestions for how to nurture and protect your light while working within the old world systems:

1) Go under cover to work:  imagine that the house of your being is filled with new world light, but let it be like a new world nursery, where you gently nurture the vulnerable new world you.  As you enter the work place, hold your sacred self sacred and protected, but not repressed inside this protected space.

2) Before entering the workplace go deep within your new world heart chakra, in the middle of your chest, and back toward your spine, find the still place of your inner wisdom.  Ask that wise one within for an invisibility shield that protects your light from being noticed by those who would be attracted to you for the wrong reasons, such as energy stealers or predators, but not from beings of unconditional love and truth.

3) Do energy balancing work, such as chakra tuning and physical exercise and eat a well balanced diet to keep yourself strong and with clear boundaries so that you aren’t leaking energy which can attract opportunistic energy users.  I have a great set of CDs with spiritual tools that work for this, feel free to inquire if you are interested.

4) Find times and places to be open and relaxed in your new world self.  Open your new world heart chakra (just a tiny bit above the regular one) and enjoy seeing life in new world ways.

5) The old world still has its job to do here, and part of that is to train us to be really self- aware and responsible.  This is part of what you are doing in the old world workplaces. These suggestions will support you in doing that.
